For a light stroller that can handle more difficult terrain, opt for three-wheelers. The Thule Shine is a great option, and we've have named it a previous winner in this category. The BOB Sport Utility
The BOB Sport utility is a great stroller for you when you want to get off the beaten path and exercise. This jogging stoller has pneumatic knobby wheels that are ideal for running trails, and a handbrake that allows you to control the downhills. It also boasts a state-of-the-art suspension system, a two-step folding design and a massive cargo basket. You can even use it with a baby car seat by purchasing the right adapters.
The main flaw of this jogging stroller is its weight and folded dimensions. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this group. Its size is not suitable for tight turns and narrow trunk spaces. However, it has small handles on the back of the storage bin that can be pulled to fold the stroller into a compact flat position.
The stroller is easy to maneuver, despite its size. The front wheel is equipped with a locking mechanism which allows you to switch between locked and normal mode. The handlebar can be adjusted for different heights of parents. It also comes with a wide seat that can recline to almost completely flat, and it also has an enormous vinyl peek-aboo window that's easy to open and close.
The Sport Utility also scored a 9 out of 10 for its exceptional quality. It has a thick frame made of aluminum, with tight connections, no rough edges and no sloppy stitching. It also has adjustable dampers, that help in the smoothness of the rolling.
As with the other BOB strollers reviewed in this review, the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with different infant car seats. It took us 5:24 minutes during our tests to put together the stroller, starting from packing it up to getting it ready to go. The assembly was easy, but you will need a Philips screwdriver. The instruction manual is well-organized and clear but it's good to keep one in your the case.
The Baby Trend Expedition
The design is crafted with style, safety features and ease of use in mind, this jogger has parents' tray with 2 cup holders, a covered storage, and a swing away child's tray with two cup holders. The adjustable canopy, with its peek-aboo windows and a wide ergonomically-designed handle, provides comfort for both parents. The lockable front swivel wheel on the front can be locked for jogging and unlocked to stroll. The large storage basket is ideal to store the essential travel items.
Consumer Reports' Strollers test program indicates that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is a good value for its price and has higher scores than its competition across a variety of categories. The 5-point harness folds, unfolds and adjusting backrests and engaging brakes on the wheel and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It has a simple design and a one-handed recline that's deep enough for napping. However the canopy cover, which ratchets, can be difficult to keep in place. It also takes almost 8 minutes to set up and the instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed together and difficult-to-read illustrations.
The only drawback to this jogger is the absence of a suspension system. This means that the ride will be more bumpy than other all-terrain strollers. This could make it difficult for children with small hands particularly if their nap is about to start. It does have air-filled tires but they don't have the same shock absorption as the rubber wheels you find on strollers that are more expensive.
This is a great option for those who don't want to run a lot however want to move over grass and gravel without difficulty and without problems with curbs, or other obstacles. It's also a great choice for families with a limited space as it folds down into a compact unit. It's lighter than many of the other joggers that we've tested, and will fit in places where some large strollers aren't able to.
It's also easier to move and lift than the larger joggers we've test. This is particularly important if you have to lift it in and out of the trunk of your car on a regular basis or if you're constantly moving.

It allows the buggy to follow better tracks and glide more easily over dips and bumps. Nipper Sport is easy to drive and has a single pedal brake. The handlebar is ergonomically designed and comes with a one pedal that is easy-lock and adjustable steering. The buggy is easy to fold, with clear step-bystep instructions and illustrations in the user manual.
The Nipper Sport is suitable for children who are older than of six months, and can be used by a newborn due to its infant insert built-in. However, it isn't recommended for use with infants under six months as the seat's harness isn't secure enough to secure them.
This pushchair also lacks a storage basket under the seat. The small shopping bag at the rear of the seat is not large enough to hold a large changing pouch. It is easy to open and close. Two hand-holds are required to open the plastic catch on either side of lower frame.
